We have already filled our two positions for the July 2014 fellowship year.
We are currently accepting applications via ERAS for the July 2015 fellowship year.
- Successful completion of an accredited cardiology fellowship training program.
- ABIM board eligible or board certified.
- Diagnostic catheterization Level 2 (minimum of 8 months experience over a 3 year period) with at least 300 diagnostic cases.
- Regarding visas, our institution only sponsors J1 visas at this time.
The Interventional Cardiology Training Program accepts applications via the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS®). Applicants may begin applying from November 15th and we will be able to download and review applications starting December 1st. Interviews will be held during January-March. There are two fully funded positions available each year. Selection is typically highly competitive from a large pool of eligible applicants with the top 10-15 candidates being invited for interview.
In addition to the usual ERAS requirements we require at least 3 Letters of Recommendation, to include the current fellowship program director as well as an interventional cardiologist who can comment on your technical ability and potential in the cardiac catheterization laboratory.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact our Training Program Coordinator, Kira Oshima, by email at email@example.com.
