Program On Aging

Introduction

The Center for Aging and Health is an interdisciplinary group of professionals dedicated to excellence and compassion in promoting the health and independence of older people in North Carolina.

Program on Aging has its missions to:

  • Develop innovative education programs for physicians and multidisciplinary health professionals in training and in practice
  • Promote collaborative research in aging and in basic and clinical services
  • Provide leadership for development of interdisciplinary clinical services for older patients
  • Provide consultation to public and private agencies which bear primary responsibility for providing services to older citizens
