Community News
Faculty and staff in the Department of Medicine at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, are actively involved in the community. Faculty see patients in clinics state-wide and you can find out about these in the Patient Care section. Our Faculty also are members of the North Carolina Area Health Education Centers (AHEC), a federally funded program, which provides educational programs in partnership with academic institutions.
We are committed to making a difference in our community. Our faculty and staff have participated in and will continue to be involved in a wide-range of outreach activities that includes health care, education, and violence prevention. These activities are held locally, nationally and internationally, and are important to us.
